The TeachKit Kickstarter is now live and a few days into the campaign*
Updates will go onto the Kickstarter page itself, please take a look, share with colleagues and friends if you like it, and back it if you can.
*At the time of writing, 4 days in and 31% funded.
We’re intending to launch the first TeachKit on Kickstarter soon.
The campaign will fund an initial, quite generic “evaluating our teaching” box and help gauge interest in producing an ongoing series of them.
The initial box contains material to help collect feedback to evaluate teaching sessions, particularly one-off sessions. It will contain a minimum of 5 ideas in the package, with materials including specially printed post-it notes, cards, and paper feedback templates – more will be revealed in the Kickstarter updates!
Ideas for topics in future so far include: Evaluating your session; Ice Breakers; Search Strategies; Sources of information; Referencing; General teaching skills (including lesson planning); Critical evaluation; Developing a topic (research questions and first steps); Open licensing; Copyright / licensing; Plagiarism; Critical reading; Revision techniques; Escape rooms for education; and Making games for learning.
The main intention with the Kickstarter is to see how much interest there is around this idea before committing to creating a series of them!
There is a preview available – I’ll swap that for the live link later 🙂
